Summer of Glass at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art

Explore the exciting display of glass art at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art this summer! This important institution that is laying the groundwork for the future of the glass art medium is once again hosting the Award Winners from Habatat Glass53 Art Experience.
The Glass53 award winners have been selected! We were honored to have three esteemed judges jury this year’s show: Brent Cole, Director of the Glick Center for Glass at Ball State University; Brit Micho, Associate Curator of Exhibitions at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art; and Robert Wojtowicz, Interim Executive Director of the Barry Art Museum at Old Dominion University.
The 24 artists listed below were chosen based on the judges’ perspectives and curatorial insight. Their work will be featured in the upcoming Summer of Glass exhibition, opening later this year at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.

We’re also excited to announce the Public’s Choice Award, determined by votes during the Grand Opening. This year’s winner is Detroit-based artist Kim Harty—congratulations, Kim!
