Path to Paradise: Judith Schaecther’s Stained Glass at TMA

  • Opens October 3, 2020 through January 3, 2021.
  • Schaecther will be doing a demo in the courtyard at the Glass Pavilion on Saturday, October 3, 2020  at 11am.

Traver Gallery Showing Towers by John Kiley – New!

  • October 1 – 30, 2020
  • Using primary geometric forms as the architecture for his glass sculptures, Kiley constructs his Towers using blocks of polished optical glass. The glass elements, weighing up to 80 pounds each, are stacked atop one another and balanced on edge, appearing to defy gravity.

The International Year of Glass Needs Support

  • In spite of COVID we continue working to get the International Year of Glass 2022. The Resolution will be sent for approval to the General Assembly of the United Nations  in December 2020. News is reported in the Press Releases in the link below

The United to Open at Pittsburgh Glass Center Now!

  • Opening October 2, The United examines the incredibly complicated topic of immigration in a time when immigration systems are in crisis.
  • Kris Rumman and Alan Iwamura are both exhibiting
  • See extraordinary and poignant glass art by twelve artists from varying practices and geographical perspectives exploring the complex topic of immigration.
