Toledo Arts Commission Accelerator Grants Announced

  • Congratulations to the June Accelerator Grant Recipients!
  • Recipients and projects include:
    • Alyssa Brutlag – to choreograph a new dance piece
    • Morag Hastie – to participate in a fiction workshop
    • Jonie McIntire –  to start a small press publishing project
    • Shawn Messenger – to purchase a kiln
    • Felissa Parker-Green – to build an outdoor stage at The Trunk for local artists to share work
    • Eric Thomas – to purchase welding equipment

Bergstrom-Mahler AACG Wisconsin Series – New!

  • Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Sturgeon Bay, WI artist Stephanie Trenchard will join Curator of Collections and Exhibitions Casey Eichhorn to talk about her work in figurative glass and enamels. Her cast glass pieces often depict motifs of motherhood and partnership and how these themes affect the creative process as well as the careers of women. Registration for this zoom webinar will begin on August 20th through the museum’s website. com.
