This is the global event for which you have been waiting! You are invited to celebrate Habatat’s 50th Glass International Award Exhibition as we celebrate the International Year of Glass. Habatat Galleries, now called Habatat Detroit Fine Art, is America's first and largest contemporary art glass gallery and is located right in Royal Oak, Michigan. You are invited to join us for the Habatat’s International Year of Glass50 Award Exhibition with a gala celebration open free to the public Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Sunday for the month of May 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. The gallery is located at 4400 Fernlee in Royal Oak. The show continues through July 29.

What is the International Year of Glass you ask? 2022 has been sanctioned the International Year of Glass by the United Nations! The science behind the medium has led to an incomprehensible list of inventions and innovations from space stations to our cell phones.
